There's More To Life

I'm on the edge, viewing the shore,
Absorbing the distraught while the subtle waves flow,
I wonder when it'll stop, when will the calm arrive,
These never-ending waves are the solace to the heart, giving the sweetest pain that there's more to life.

As the wind strikes the thunder of waves,
Creating restless noises delineating nature's power,
All these birds right above the sky question my survival,
Overcoming the clatter whispering through their feathers that there's more to life.

The unknown silence of the shore embarks the clash inside,
As I look around me with a slight fierce in my eyes,
I see all the people wearing kinds of disguise,
Making me realize that there's more to life.

Yet, in all the frowning chaos,
With all these drowning thoughts,
Appearing in smiles with the hope of bright delight,
Yielding in our hearts that there's more to life!
