Love Scam

Love is nothing but sugarcoated,

What others say about love is just quoted,

When you fall for your someone,

Everything seems wrong except that one.

Questionable reasoning in mind stops,

The heart starts dancing hip hops,

The sweetness of life doubles with a cherry on top,

And then all your imaginary films flops.

Suddenly the meaning of life changes,

Thoughts of your itself arranges,

Their sight is seen in your eyes,

And everything about them gives you butterflies.

Don’t you think these are all lies?

All these meanings of butterflies,

Just fades away in a while,

When life shows you the length of crossroad line.

Beautiful moments in love are just a thing,

Because the time over bell is yet to ring,

You’ll get the one you love is that what you think?

Maybe you should revise your situation and rethink.

It’s all in the state of mind,

Then why do you let your heart make you blind,

Get in your life back, what you want you’ll not get,

Holding love for just one is what you’ll regret.

Life gives no second chances,

So don’t take things for granted,

Look at yourself and see,

Is this really what you wanted to be?

Let go of these moments which are painful,

Then only you’ll be able to see something colourful,

See the people around you who are grateful,

Come on, make your life a little bit tasteful.

Love is a painted remedy,

Somewhat like a comedy,

Taken to heart becomes a tragedy,

Don’t lose it for just one person because it’s called stupidity!
