Pinocchio

A lesson in Pinocchio's falsehood. We all grew up listening to fairy tales. And in all these fairy tales, there is the folk history of Pinocchio the puppet. A dream puppet, a moppet with adventures, and a marionette whose nose grew when he spoke a lie! I think the most powerful message our parents have given about lying is that if we mention it, our noses will get longer. And as innocent kids, we have always believed in the horror of the long nose and never dared to lie. However, there are some questions that binds me to Pinocchio's long nose. Why did it grow larger? What’s the reason behind it? By reading the Pinocchio series something I realized was the distance and communication gap occurring while he was telling lies. His slightest lies keep him away from the people he loves, the long nose does not even make him ashamed, but Geppetto one of his creators as well.
